From Chase to Chill
Predation Substitute Training
Does your dog run off as soon as they see, hear, or smell wildlife? Maybe they ignore you when their prey drive kicks in or along walks.
From Chase to Chill teaches you to harness your dog's prey drive (for squirrels, bunnies, deer, etc.) to achieve better cooperation in appropriate ways. Depending on student needs, we will work on skills such as lowering arousal around distractions, stimulus control, recall, loose leash or off-leash walking, and predation substitute games. Our last class will be held at a park in the presence of animals where we can work through the skills taught in class.
