Canine Parkour is a 4-week intro series into the world of urban agility. Build your dog’s confidence with this low impact but challenging activity that can be done anywhere! This growing sport is suitable for dogs of all sizes, ages, and capabilities.
Throughout the course, teams will learn foundational parkour skills such as Get on (2 & 4 feet), Go Around, Get Inside, Under, Walk back and more. Topics covered include the benefits of parkour for everyday life, venue titling, basic spotting techniques, and how to submit for titles from the International Dog Parkour Association.
Pre-requisites: Puppy 1 or equivalent. Dogs in this class will work simultaneously in a group setting, so it is not appropriate for reactive dogs. If you are unsure, please email for Instructor Permission.
Location: Kinship Dog Training Studio is located at 320 SW Mount Si Blvd Suite 108 North Bend, WA 98045. The entrance and parking are located behind the shopping center.
Instructor: Anna McBrady, KPA-CTP
Schedule: Fridays @ 3:45 PM
Cost: $220 for a 4-week session
What to bring:
-Your dog! Preferably a little hungry, and having been given a potty break prior to class.
-flat buckle collar, martingale collar, head halter, front-attaching harness (ex. Freedom or Balance harnesses) or body harness. Please no prong collars or slip/choke collars.
-6 foot nylon or leather leash. Please no flexi/retractable leashes.
-treat pouch. A fanny pack, climber’s chalk bag, or hardware apron will work well too!
-treats! At least two cups (I know, it’s a lot!) of pea-sized delicious treats. Your treats need to outcompete the environment, so hot dogs, ham and cheese will all work well.
-A mat or platform for your dog to rest on between exercises.
-Optional: a chew or stuffed kong for your dog to chew during downtimes.
