BEHAVIOR HELP
CUSTOMIZED PROBLEM SOLVING
We help you identify and prioritize your dog’s most important behavior issues, then create a personalized training plan. Private lessons offer a safe, effective alternative to group classes—ideal for busy families or dogs who struggle around new people or other dogs.
Private Lessons are $120 - $200, depending on location and frequency.
Use the menu below to select and schedule a private lesson.

To address dog-to-dog reactivity, we recommend meeting at Kinship Arena—a quiet, natural environment with no other dogs or people around, except for the trainer’s helper dog.
If your dog is comfortable in indoor spaces with unfamiliar people or dogs at least 40 feet away, our studio is a great climate-controlled option.

We can also meet at your home if that’s more convenient.
We also offer intensive in-home day training packages, where the trainer comes to your home and works directly with your dog.
Virtual lessons are an excellent option if you live outside our trainers’ service area.

For dog-to-human reactivity, we recommend our Stranger Danger: Treat/Retreat class. This small-group setting allows dogs to work one at a time while gradually acclimating to unfamiliar people. You can also choose one-on-one private training in any of our settings:

For dogs with a history of dog-to-dog or dog-to-human bites that required medical attention, we recommend meeting at our arena—a quiet, natural environment with no other dogs or people present. If you have multiple dogs in the same household, please bring only one dog to the lesson. Upon arrival, remain in your car until the trainer comes to meet you.
If your dog is comfortable in smaller indoor spaces with unfamiliar people or dogs at a distance of 40 ft or less, we can meet at our studio.
